Mustard ~ N ~ Berry

Good Monday morning girls...

Are you like me.. TIRED.. LOL.. I was up way to late. Had a fun evening watching the superbowl and laughing with friends. It's always great to catch up with friends that you don't see often. I have to say that no matter how long we may spend apart, when we come together it's like no time has passed at all.. I have some of the best people to call friends (more like family) :)...

Anywho.. on to today's outfit. Picked up this dress last week while thrifting it's a Target dress was brand new so I paid $5 for it, which is kinda high for me at the thrift store I'm used to $3 or less haha.. it's just ridiculous how cheap you become when you thrift shop LOL.. but I love this dress, the fit is perfect, the color is rich and vibrant and looks great on my skin, they had a few other colors, which I may have to go back and get LOL.. The boots are from Bakers.. they were on there Super Clearance sale for $29. I could not leave the store without these gorgeous Suede Lace Up Boots!!!  I didn't have any tall boots this color and I love the wedge heel.  Although it's long sleeve, the material is kinda thin so I paired it with a Denim blazer i've had for years from Banana Republic added some random jewelry and the look is complete :).

    Wow! You find some great things when you thrift! I'm still new at it so I guess I haven't gotten that good yet. These colors go nicely together and I wouldn't have left Bakers without those boots either. CUTE!

    Hunnnnny! I loooove these boots and paired with the mustard dress...You rock! And I'm laughing at you about paying more than $5 at the thrift store. I just said the same thing to my mother as we were thrifting on this past Saturday. She showed me a $6.99 skirt and I said no thanks because it was more than $5. It has to be a major doozy for me to be inclined to spend more than that.

    I love this color combo - you look great!! and I wish you lived in ATL so you can take me with you when you go thrifting together - you do so great! and you are so right, once you thrift, even 10 cents over can be a bit too much!!

    I am loving that dress! Once you said it had pockets, that sent me over the edge. lol. Great find! I wish I had luck with thrift shopping. I hope once I move to a bigger city, I can find better items. I'm glad you had a good time with your friends. =)
