Patchwork Dress

Good Morning Lovelies... and Happy Thursday to ya :)

Today is my Friday woo hoo.. I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to start my weekend of Empowerment and Elevation with a group of lovely women in Brookfield, WI for our first annual women's retreat.  I'm so excited, my bestie Teena (The Gorgeous Dork) has planned a wonderful weekend of uplifting seminars for us consisting of  Fitness, Fashion, Finance, Spiritual Feeding and just all around fun!! This is just the first of many more events to come, so stay tuned for video clips and pictures from this awesome event when I return!!

Today I'm wearing a pastel patchwork dress I thrifted from CrossRoads Trading last year. When I bought it, the pastel trend hadn't really set in, and I was too sure how I like the colors, but I love the style of the dress. I'm so glad I snagged it when I did. That's the thing about thrift shopping, you can always work items into current trends and when the trend is over, re-sale, donate or give away the item if you don't care for it anymore, and you haven't broke the budget buying it while in store and at full price.  I'm wearing gray ankle buckle wedges from Bakers, my fav White crop jacket and random jewelry.
