Peasantly Surprised....

Happy Hump Day ;)

Getting right to this DRESS!!!  Found it yesterday at the Salvation Army...and I'm in LOVE with this peasant style dress!!! Its a sheer crepe material with a dark blue, maroon, cream and green floral detail. The length sweeps the ground without my platform heels, and it can and will be worn off the shoulder this spring/summer.   Wearing my maroon lace up booties and doubled up on my tights LOL.. it's a lil nip out today, but I couldn't wait to wear this dress!!

Anywho... wishing you a Wonderful Wednesday :)

Nothing Special...

Hey guys...

Coming at you with a quick post. Nothing much special about this outfit, just wearing a thrifted Neutral colored jacket, flare jeans and nude pumps. It's overcast and gloomy out, didn't feel inspired to put on anything fancy lol..

Hope your day is going well :)

Mustard ~ N ~ Berry

Good Monday morning girls...

Are you like me.. TIRED.. LOL.. I was up way to late. Had a fun evening watching the superbowl and laughing with friends. It's always great to catch up with friends that you don't see often. I have to say that no matter how long we may spend apart, when we come together it's like no time has passed at all.. I have some of the best people to call friends (more like family) :)...

Anywho.. on to today's outfit. Picked up this dress last week while thrifting it's a Target dress was brand new so I paid $5 for it, which is kinda high for me at the thrift store I'm used to $3 or less haha.. it's just ridiculous how cheap you become when you thrift shop LOL.. but I love this dress, the fit is perfect, the color is rich and vibrant and looks great on my skin, they had a few other colors, which I may have to go back and get LOL.. The boots are from Bakers.. they were on there Super Clearance sale for $29. I could not leave the store without these gorgeous Suede Lace Up Boots!!!  I didn't have any tall boots this color and I love the wedge heel.  Although it's long sleeve, the material is kinda thin so I paired it with a Denim blazer i've had for years from Banana Republic added some random jewelry and the look is complete :).

Hope you are having a great start to your day and work week.

Orange ~ Denim ~ Leo

Happy Super Sunday !!!

I'm not really a football fan.. but I do enjoy a great Super Bowl Party LOL.. today i'll be heading over to watch the game with friends and enjoy the food and festivities. Hope you are enjoying your Sunday in general whether you like football or not :)

This is my outfit from yesterday. I spent the morning with my Sweetface Girls (Mentor / Youth Development Program) serving dinners for first annual fundraiser. It was a great success we sold close to 100 dinners and this money will go to support our program activities and outings planned through out the year. I wore these bright orange skinny jeans from H&M, they are part of their new spring denim collection, they also have other great colors (Pink, Green, White and Black) the fit is nice, they have a bit of stretch so I'm thinking of getting the Pink and Green pair. My denim trench is from Old Navy, I've had this for years and it never goes out of style, paired with my Leopard Steve Madden booties, which have become my fav go to booties to add some animal print pizazz to any outfit.

Well I'm getting ready to head out soon, just wanted to share this quick outfit post.

Have a great evening :)

Balmy Winter

Happy Friday Dolls...

I think we all have been experiencing a balmy winter, the days are warmer than what we usually have around this time. I'm not complaining AT ALL.. but I know this is a procrastination on winter LOL.. we WILL get the Hawk here in Chicago.. can't take this break in the weather for granted, I utilized the opportunity to take some outside pics.. I'm growing bored of taking pics inside the house.. Spring Please Hurry Up!!!

Anywho.. keeping it casual today. Wearing my fav blazer with the elbow patches I lucked up and found sometime in November, Old Navy skinny jeans, thrifted turtleneck and my new booties from Bakers!! They were only $29.. couldn't pass up such a great deal :).

Wishing you all a great weekend.... Enjoy and if you watching the Super Bowl, who do you pick to WIN???

Got That Feline Feeling.....

Happy Thursday Ladies...

I ain't gonna lie.. I'm kinda feeling myself today!! This leopard print pencil skirt is hugging the curves just right LOL.. Walked passed my mirror.. and said to myself "DAYUUM GURL" ahahaaa... Hey sometimes you got to compliment YOURSELF!!! If you feel good others will notice... right!

Okay so about this Fit... you know it's from the thrift store.. by now you know how I gets down.. if it ain't thrift.. I don't want it LOL.. now this skirt was a rare find cause i've been searching high and low for a leopard print pencil skirt IN MY SIZE.. I found this one at Salvation Army along with the sweater!  Both were under $3 don't remember the exact prices. I've just been waiting to wear it, not sure why but today was the day to rock this bad mamma jama (OK Aging myself saying that lol).  The shoes are from the Jessica Simpson collection I posted about them a while back, I think the mix of snakeskin and leopard print go well together, and just gives the outfit a lil more pizazz instead of a all black heel or bootie.

Anywho.. I'm feeling GREAT (Toni The Tiger Voice) hope you are too :))

Have a Fantabulous Day!!!
