Patchwork Dress

Good Morning Lovelies... and Happy Thursday to ya :)

Today is my Friday woo hoo.. I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to start my weekend of Empowerment and Elevation with a group of lovely women in Brookfield, WI for our first annual women's retreat.  I'm so excited, my bestie Teena (The Gorgeous Dork) has planned a wonderful weekend of uplifting seminars for us consisting of  Fitness, Fashion, Finance, Spiritual Feeding and just all around fun!! This is just the first of many more events to come, so stay tuned for video clips and pictures from this awesome event when I return!!

Today I'm wearing a pastel patchwork dress I thrifted from CrossRoads Trading last year. When I bought it, the pastel trend hadn't really set in, and I was too sure how I like the colors, but I love the style of the dress. I'm so glad I snagged it when I did. That's the thing about thrift shopping, you can always work items into current trends and when the trend is over, re-sale, donate or give away the item if you don't care for it anymore, and you haven't broke the budget buying it while in store and at full price.  I'm wearing gray ankle buckle wedges from Bakers, my fav White crop jacket and random jewelry.

What A Wonderful Wednesday .....

Sun is shining bright.. birds were up EARLY chirping away.. I'm feeling great and looking forward to the weekend !!

Today I'm wearing a oldie but goodie orange and yellow stripe jacket from Express that I've had for many years now, it never seems to go out of style and color blocking it with these cobalt blue skinny jeans from TJ Maxx makes for a super cute outfit in my opinion.

I have been slacking on my posting once again... I Know I Know.. just realized I only had one outfit post last week.. I will do better this week... even though it gonna be just as busy.. I have my women's retreat coming up on Friday  and I can't wait to meet, fellowship, laugh, shop, grow, elevate and just enjoy this weekend with all the lovely ladies attending!!

Today's outfit is a cute halter dress from Old Navy, found it on clearance for $8.99. Love the bright burst of orange and white together, with a light weight denim jacket from F21, and Steve Madden wedges. Nice and simple... for a beautiful Spring Day...
