Praying that my fellow East coast bloggers, family and friends are doing well and safe. It's been crazy seeing the news stories and the pictures being posted related to Sandy, and I just pray that everyone was able to evacuate safely, your homes are ok, power is restored and you will be back to some sense of normal living soon.
Today's outfit is just simple pieces paired together to KEEP WARM. It's getting very chilly here in the Midwest. The winds are strong and I should have really worn a coat today. Outfit details are below.
Have a blessed day.

It my fav day of the work week again... and almost time to return home to my fav men :).
Gonna keep this post short and sweet today. So I'm obsessed with plaid lately, mostly Tartan Plaid. I've found some great thrift/vintage plaid items in the past few weeks and I've been drooling over the Peplum Asos Tartan Plaid Top and Trousers a few of my blogger buddies have posted. I have to have those pieces!! Hoping they go on sale and are in my size on the site soon.
Today's dress is a Salvation Army find, I purchased about 3 weeks ago, think it was $7 or around that amount. I was just so excited to find it, that I didn't really care what the price was. I love the style of the dress, the half wrap detail on the front with the pleated side pocket just adds to its uniqueness. I am a bit squeezed into it now, but I'm working on my fitness and this baby will fit me just right soon :)
I'm still in recovery mode from the SUPER Fantabulous weekend I enjoyed with my Boo. We did it REAL BIG this entire weekend and had a blast!! This post is going to be Pic & Video Heavy so get ready...
We began the weekend Friday night attending the Midwest Fashion Week Shows held in Downtown Indianapolis, featuring local and other midwest designers. To check out video from the show Click my YouTube link above. There was too much footage to post here but I wanted you to see what the Midwest has to offer.

To cap off the weekend we attended the WNBA Finals Game featuring the Indianapolis Fever & Minnesota Lynx.. it was a exciting game, full of close calls and scores. The FEVER Took the Crown and are the 2012 WNBA Champions!!! It was great to attend my first WNBA game and I thank my hunny for getting tickets, we had awesome seats right on the floor close to the action!!
Down to the last 32 seconds.... Free Throws help clench the WIN!
I'm excited it's almost the weekend. Me and the boo have a fun jam packed weekend planned. Tomorrow and Saturday night we will be attending the Indianapolis Midwest Fashion Week shows featuring local designers. This will be my first fashion show and I can't wait to see what the talented designers in Indy have to offer. Stay tuned for a special OOTN post and video/pictures of the event. Sunday evening we will be attending the WNBA Fever game.. they are currently in the championship finals and if the series goes to Game 4 on Sunday... the boo wants to be at that game LOL... although I enjoy many sports and even played basketball I have never gotten into the WNBA, so I look forward to attending my first game ... GO FEVER!!!
As for today's OOTD..
I wasn't going to post these pics, because it was so windy out this morning, I didn't get many good pics, but I decided to go ahead and show the few decent ones. When I bought this skirt last weekend my boo jokingly referred to is as the "Deer-Bra" skirt.. if you caught Kevin Harts last comedy show, you will know exactly what he's talking about LOL.. I was super excited to snag this skirt for $10 off the H&M clearance rack, paired with my pink/black thrifted blazer and cream/black button down also from H&M. Wearing black platform pumps from Bakers and random jewelry.
Think Wednesday is the best day of the week for me... it's the day I'm most settled. Mondays I'm working from home, but usually anxious about my commute to work early Tuesday morning..Tuesdays I'm dragging most of the day, Thursdays are long with my commute back home..Fridays I'm ready to wind down from a busy week. So Wednesdays have become the day I feel most relaxed...and it's HUMP DAY... Yeeaaaahhhh Baby LOL..
Anywho... today I'm wearing a Oldie but Goodie Cream/Yellow Hounds tooth Pencil skirt I've had for many years now. It's funny cause sometimes it fits and most times its just a weee bit snug.. I won't lie, today I was surprised it fit just right :). Wearing my treasured RL denim ruffle shirt I thrifted a few months ago and Cream Belt and Boots. The weather is holding at a breezy 70 today, so no jacket required for today at least...
