Mild Winters... Loving Dallas

Good Thursday morning to you...

It's been a beautiful weather week here in Dallas as most of the North East and Mid West are experiencing brutal weather and freezing temps, I'm praying for them and so thankful that I made the decision to relocate to Dallas last summer.  Being able to enjoy a 70 plus degree day in January is a new luxury to me... I certainly don't miss the 19 plus inches of snow and negative windshield temps of Chicago.

Today I'm wearing a colorful blouse and slacks from NY&CO. I recently started back shopping there. I'm  enjoying the Eva Mendez collections and a lot of the jumpsuits and color schemes they have brought to the line now.

SWEATER DRESS WEATHER

Good Thursday morning to ya...

Hope your day is off to a great start. Mine is slowly going. Its been a challenging week but I'm blessed and making it through.

I am loving the mild winter here in Texas. One of the main reasons I relocated here. It can be in the 30s one day and back up to 60s the next. It's gonna be in the 60s today so I'm happy.

I'm wearing thiw pretty hunter green sweater dress I picked up from Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago paired with Cognac OTK boots i ordered online from Amazon. I love this color combo it's rich texture makes it Winter appropriate but the light weight feel is just enough for a 60 degree day.

New Year. .. New Style Possibilities

I've been thinking about what style changes and risks I want to stake this year.  I've never been one to adhere to Fashion Rules I wear what I want and what works best for me and my body. I've also come a long way with being more open to try different styles of dress.  Think that comes with maturity and being more self confident. So this year I'm going to embrace different prints, style shapes and colors and purge my closet of items I no longer need or plan to wear.

What are some of your fashion resolutions?? I would love to know.

Celebrating New Year's Eve 2015

Happy New Year and welcome to a new year of greatness!!

I brought in the New Year with friends at the Intercontinental Hotel here in Dallas. The weather was chilly and damp but it was a beautiful night all in all. I chose this sparkly jumpsuit from NY&Co.  It was a statement by itself and didn't require much jewelry or accessorizing. I love jumpsuits for their comfort and ease and it was perfect for a evening of dancing and celebrating.

Hope your year is off to a great start
