Faux Leather Shift Dress

Hey... it's Wednesday.. my favorite day of the work week :) and almost time to head back home :)

In my morning rush I managed to still get a few pics of today's outfit. Wearing one of my early Christmas presents  from my hunnie. We went to Cincinnati on a day trip a couple weeks ago and stopped at his favorite mall. Stopped in The Limited to see what they had on sale and my eyes locked on the fabulous faux "OxBlood" maroon leather shift dress!! I was excited to see it on the Clearance racks and even more ecstatic when it rang up an additional 40% off. So my boo bought it for me along with a super cute crop jacket, you will be seeing very soon.. So Thank You Again Babe... hope you like how it styled the dress ;)

Wishing you all a Wonderful Wednesday

Back to Blogging...

Happy Tuesday Peeps...

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, and safe Black Friday & Cyber Monday shopping experience. I didn't participate in either this year, we attempted to stop by Walmart on Black Friday and after we saw the craze of shoppers, decided to PASS. I heard so many disturbing stories of people fighting, arguing and hurting others over material things. Just isn't the type of shopping experience I like to have. My hunnie and I enjoyed our first Thanksgiving together with family and friends and that is the perfect way to spend the holiday for me. Enjoying your loved ones, great food, laughs and memories created.. Nothing Better!!

As my blog states... I'm going to make an effort to blog on the regular again. It's been a little awkward since I moved, my new camera has some issues and the cold weather isn't helping motivate me to take any pics outside. I miss all the scenic areas I had to take pictures at my old place, but I am going to find some new pic locations at home SOON :) .. thanks for bearing with me... and Boo... you can stop nagging me about posting now.. LOL

Today I'm wearing a dress purchased from Macy's thanks to my J.O.B, I was given a gift card for helping a co-worker out on a project and ended up using it at Macy's for this fabulous dress! I love the print pattern, use of colors and style of this dress so much, can't wait to wear it in warmer weather. Paired it with my J Crew coat thrifted from the Salvation Army, Over the knee boots, tan tights and simple jewelry.

Enjoy your day :)

Favorite Fall Hues

Heyyyy it's Wednesday again...

I woke up feeling refreshed and excited for so many reasons. Although I will say I AM GLAD this election is OVA... Thankful that President Obama was re-elected !! Praying for his success in the next 4 years :) There is a lot of work to be done, and I'm most confident in President Obama. Exercising our right to VOTE in this election was crucial, and I'm happy to see that so many of us understood that and went to the Polls.

Now enough of politics... today I'm wearing two of my favorite Fall colors, a rich Hunter Green and sultry Maroon. I can't get into the term "Oxblood" just not me, but I do love the color lol. This dress and leather trench are both Salvation Army finds and the boots are from Bakers. I love the length and style of this dress, makes me feel like a human Pine Tree LOL, the way its fitted at the top and full and flowy at the bottom.  The color of the trench is what drew my attention, I'm always amazed at what people chose to get rid of, but also ecstatic that I find them.  The boots are super comfy with the wedge heel and the tie up detail in the back, I've had them since last fall but this is just my second time wearing them, I will show them in more detail in tomorrow's post :).

VOTE!! VOTE!!! VOTE!!! and OOTD

Happy Election Day!!!

I hope that you all have either voted early or will be going out to VOTE TODAY !! I went to vote early and was excited to see so many come out early, I know the lines are long and it's a bit frustrating/irritating but its well worth the wait. This election is crucial to so many different issues and we must not take for granted our ability to voice our opinions and VOTE!

Todays OOTD is a look I posted in my FALL LOOKBOOK, I styled the leopard dress a little more appropriate for work by adding a white button down shirt and tall Over The Knee Boots.  Kept my accessories simple, just earrings and a belt.   I found this Calvin Klein Sweater Dress at Plato's Closet for $14.99, practically brand new. I was surprised to see it at Plato's which normally caters to a younger Teen/Twenty something demographic, this seemed a little more mature, but none the less I was happy and quickly snagged it LOL.  Pairing it with black boots and accessories tones down the animal print, but I will also be dressing it up similar to how I wore it here in my Fall Look Book

Wishing you all a safe Election Day!!
Get Out & VOTE !!!

Old School Liz Sport Jumpsuit

Happy Thursday :)

It's Thrift Thursday and I decided to Sport my Liz Claiborne Sport Jumpsuit LOL.. Picked this lil number up during the summer from Salvation Army. Thrifting has really helped me step out of my comfort zone and try things I would normally pass right by, on the hanger this jumpsuit didn't look very appealing and I wasn't sure how it would fit me. Since it was only $3 I went for it, too my surprise I LOVE IT.. it fits perfectly and I'm so glad I decided to get it.

Wishing you all a wonderful day and weekend to come :).
