Hope you had an enjoyable Memorial Weekend with family and friends and also took time to remember and thank those Women and Men who have served and protected our freedoms and continue to do so. We are so blessed to live in this country and afford the freedoms we all can at times take for granted.
As for my extended weekend. I didn't do to much. The weather here in Chicago was cold and rainy most of the weekend. So I spent very little time outside. On Sunday, I did attend a very special Dedication Ceremony for the birth of two of my good friends son Baby Christian. It was beautiful to be a witness to it and I thankful to have been invited to attend. Renita and Samson are so blessed to have a wonderful joy of a son in Christian!
Monday Memorial Day was also low key. A friend and I hung out all day. We did some shopping he found these awesome slippers LOL, we had lunch at one of my favorite places, and caught the latest movies Fast and Furious 6 and Star Trek. This is what I wore for Memorial Day. All in all a pretty great weekend!!
