Denim ~ Lemon Yellow Skirt

Good morning All and Happy Friday !!!

It's the weekend again and I'm so happy :)... I don't have much planned but a early bike ride with my spin crew and relaxing at home... but I'm looking forward to doing nothing much. We got a little rain last night, which has cooled us off a bit here, but the temps will still be in the upper 80's low 90's for the next few days. I need to get to a pool this weekend for sure :)

Today i'm wearing a Old Navy denim shirt thrifted from SA, Lemon yellow flirty skirt from Forever 21, Nude wedges from Ross and random jewelry. Today I feel comfy and cool, and hope the work day flys by quickly.

Neon Pink

Whew weeeee... it's already HOTT out there.. I was fighting back sweat as I took these outfit pics this morning at 8AM... I love Summmer!! But I hate to sweat immediately upon stepping foot outside my air conditioned home.. even my pups didn't want to take our full 20 min walk this morning.. they were dragging me back home after 10 minutes LOL. So please be careful out there today.

Today's OOTD is a oldie i've had for years. It purchased it from Express maybe 4 years ago.. it still looks great, the bright Neon Pink is right on trend, paired with color block heals from A'Gaci and my Aldo Clutch. I scored this turquoise necklace from Salvation Army for $1.50. I Love the combination of Turquoise with this vibrant Pink, makes me feel girly and flirty :)

Crochet Dress...

Happy Hump Day Dolls & Gents.....

It's going to be a scorcher here in the Chicagoland area.. near 95 degrees so we are making sure we stay cool and drinking plenty of fluids. Be careful out there if you are experiencing these records highs...

Today's dress is a easy breezy crochet detail dress, worn over a slip. It's the perfect dress to allow for a cool breeze to blow right through LOL.. I picked it up at CrossRoads Trading resale store a few months ago for $12. When i'm looking for current trendy pieces, I frequent CrossRoads.. they always have something for every fashion style.

Salvation Army Thrift Excursion....

Happy Monday,

This past weekend I took a couple friends on a thrifting excursion. They are both new to the idea of thrift shopping and had a lot of questions about how to find items that were both stylish and worked well with their body shapes. We had a blast and actually recorded the day.
