GRAY ~ YELLOW ~ WHITE

When the color combination makes the outfit POP !! I love Gray and Yellow together the two shades compliment one another so well. Today I'm wearing a classic Stripe button down from H&M paired with Charcoal Gray Faux Leather pants from LOFT and a pop of yellow in my belt and shoes from Charlotte Russe.

PROLONGED SUMMER

Here we are in the middle of October and Dallas is still experiencing summer like high temps.. record breaking 96 degress today. I know I shouldn't have any complaints because i lived in the Midwest most of my life and we dreamed of warm temps that would last into Fall. I'm just ready for  a cool down and the transition to fall clothes.

Todays outfit is simple and comfortable. Wearing a plaid top from Old Navy and GAP Boot Cut denim with my Burgundy Ankle Boots.

Navy Jumpsuit

Summer is coming to a end and soon the temps will begin to lower.. maybe not here in Dallas but I'm ready to start my transition to fall wear.

I've had this jumpsuit for a while but this is my first time wearing it. I love jumpsuits they are a easy outfit to put together whether you are dressing up or down.

That 70s Chic

Hey hey hey... my favorite line from a show in the 70s called What's Happening" today's outfit takes me back to childhood.. I'm a proud 70s Baby.. 1974 to be exact!! Yea I know... I don't look a day over 29 lol..

Anywho. .. todays fit is a combination of thrift and current pieces. I'm loving these Flare jeans from H&M and the entire 70s vibe thats making it's way into fall fashion.

Thrift Romper..and Mule/Clogs

Its a beautiful Saturday in my hood..

I wore this Romper I made from jumpsuit that I thrifted years ago. I snagged these cute mule/clogs from Goodwill for $5 the other day and couldn't wait to wear them. They are super comfortable and easy to walk in. Last night me and the girls had dinner at Max's Wine Dine during Dallas Restaurant week. The vibe was chill and they live performer was the bomb.

Polka Dot Mini

It's been a minute since I last posted..life has been full of challenges these past few weeks. For most of July I was in and no out of the hospital and just now getting to feeling like my normal self. Thankful to be on the road to recovery..  and I am grateful for God's healing and blessing of improved health. I have been reprogrammed and will no longer take my health for granted. It is much to precious and fragile.

Any who today I wore this cute flirty dress from Plato's Closet I snagged a while ago. Its originally from A'Gaci and I love the style and dots. The temps in Dallas have been scorching in the 100s plus for two weeks now so it's imperative to stay cool and pack on the sunscreen.

Good evening...

I'm daring to show my mid-drift... I'm not the most confident about doing so.. I loving refer to my belly as a baby keg.. it's a work in progress but it's so HOT here in Dallas, staying cool and cute is a must lol. This outfit is a thrift find for the most part. Got the top and shoes from Plato's Closet and the shorts are from H&M super comfy and cute for only $12.99. Gotta go back and get a few more pairs..

Short Romper...

IT'S HOTTTTT IN DALLAS...

This is my second official summer here in Dallas and It's HOT Baby...

I'm not complaining because this is primarily why I relocated to get away from the harsh Chicago winters and the MidWest in general.  I'm enjoying wearing cute lil rompers and short shorts. We have been in the 90's plus they past few weeks here and Summer just started. So i'm preparing myself for the Dog Days of Summer... staying inside during the days and coming out in the evenings .

Today's evening look is a Forever 21 romper paired with Charlotte Russe wedge sandals.
