Thanking God Its Thursday !!

Yes... you saw me wearing these same pants last Friday... I don't normally wear clothing back to back, but I love these Leopard print pants so much, I wanted to wear them to work. I just took them for a quick test spin last Friday to run a few errands.  I hate to waste a cute outfit haha.. like it doesn't really count if no one saw you in it..Anywho... I repeated and remixed these babies, dressed them up a bit with a sleeveless peplum top, red belt, blazer and my new Zara color block pumps.

The temps are back to Fa-Reeezing here so I apologize for the terrible quality of the indoor pics, but a girl gotta look cute and stay warm at the same dang time.

Happy Wednesday Peeps...

I'm thrown off with my days, this outfit was from yesterday. I wore this for my commute to Chicago. It was unseasonably warm out a high of 60 degrees.. in January O_0 in the Midwest.. yeah of course it will not last, we will be back to below 10 degrees by Friday... Just Cray weather conditions!! 

Anywho, nothing really special about this outfit, wearing a navy cutout sleeve top from Old Navy, F21 Skinny Jeans, Charlotte Russe Boots and F21 Scarf, threw on my thrifted plaid trench just in case the weather made a drastic turn.

So glad it Wednesday and I will be headed by home tomorrow :)

Whewwwwwwwww Weeeeeeeeeeee.... It's COLD Outside!!

I took these pics in record speed, the pictures inside just weren't that great, i'm still learning the best setting for my camera indoors, gotta study up on it FAST cause  LAWD.. it was 0 degress out this morning O_0... Cray Cray Cold!!  I even doubled up on my tights.. Two Pair.. Yep! This dress is a thrift find from Salvation Army orginally by one of the designer lines from Target, Love the design and color scheme, and thought pops of Cobalt Blue in my belt and earrings would be a great accent to the Gray, Black and White. I planned on wearing Cobalt Blue shoes, but this weather called for Over The Knee boots!

70's Winter Chic

Happy Inauguration Monday

Hope that you all are enjoying the wonderful day in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday and the 2nd Inauguration of President Obama. I spent the morning watching with my hun, it was great to see for the 2nd time and witness a part of History in the making again.

Today I'm representing the 70's wearing this vintage plaid trench coat I thrifted from the Salvation Army this weekend. I'm hooked on all things plaid this season, and I also love a classic cut trench coat and for $5 this was a awesome find and steal!!!  Paired it with a thrifted turtleneck, H&M Fur vest ,Old Navy Flare jeans and Bakers ankle booties.   We just got a fresh dusting of snow this morning, so the snow is nice and bright, its pretty chilly out so these layers are def coming in handy keeping me warm.

Well I'm headed off to make my commute to Chicago for work. Have a wonderful day and blessed week  :)...

Good Wednesday Morning...

Another quickie OOTD post. It's about time for me to take ALL my pictures indoors for a while. These early morning outdoor pics are brutal. My camera lense nearly iced over, and the pics didn't come out that great.  The midwest hawk is out and i'm gonna stay outta her way lol. 

Anywho.. today's outfit is a Old Navy Black/Gray sweater dress I found at Goodwill a while ago. I love that it has pockets and how comfy and cosy it feels. Nothing special about it, just tights, booties and accessories to add a lil pop.

It's almost the weekend friends!!!  Can't wait to get home!!

Good Thursday To Ya :)

Thursday are my Friday in the office so I'm excited to be heading back home today and I get away with my more casual "Friday" look on Thursday. Wearing a Moto/biker jacket from Forever 21 with Faux leather sleeves and stretch denim. I love the belt detail  and how it fits snug around the tummy area.  Paired with my stripe pencil skirt and riding boots gives it a Biker Chic look.  Its warmed up a bit here with highs in the 50's today so I was able to get away with not wearing a heavy top coat.

Tuesday mornings are ROUGH!!!

You can see it on my face that I'm TIRED... lol just pay attention to the outfit.  I have had this lovely Purple Peplum blazer in my closet since last Summer and this is my first time wearing it. This is how I know I have way too much stuff, forgetting about a gem like this. I thrifted this from Salvation Army for less that $3 not sure the exact price, but I know I got it for an additional half off :).  The polka dots although they appear black are a dark green, the peplum detail is perfection and just kept the look simple with black skinnies from F21 and booties.

Well I'm gonna attempt to make it through this day without going out to my car to take a nap, I'm soooooo sleepy.

A Month of Styled Work Looks...

Happy First Monday of the New Year...

I have been trying to get back in the swing of blogging regularly and decided I would start doing a Month Look Book of Work/Office Looks. I commute to work from Indianapolis to the Chicago area Tuesday - Thursday every week and I have to plan out three days of work outfits. Normally I just  wait until Monday and pull some outfits together which causes me so much anxiety, being that I am SUPER particular about what I wear.  So to begin the new year, I've set some goals to 1. Shop my closet and not shop so often and 2. Actually wear ALL the clothes I already have.  My boo doesn't believe I can go without shopping for the next couple months until we go on vacation in March. I have made up mind and I will only be shopping my closet until March 11th !!!

When I pack for the work week, it helps to chose outfits similar in color scheme so I can wear similar shoes and accessories and not have to try to stuff over 3 pair of shoes in my small bag.  Here are some looks I put together for this month....
