New Day ~ New Shoe ~ Week 2 ~ Friday

Happy Friday Everyone :)))...

This has been a LONG week.. I missed two days posting but will make up for it this weekend.. I have some New Thrift Items i'm going to post and also try to make my first VLOG... bare with me LOL..

Today's Shoe is one of my Fav for Fall... It's a funky heeled Mary Jane shoe I picked up from Bakers Shoes a couple years ago.. You will see these paired with many outfits to come.. Indian Summer is officially Ova!! Time to break out the socks, tights and leggings for warmth.. I wore some cute ankle socks today...

Today's Outfit.. is Men's Wear Inspired with a girly twist.. I found this blazer at Salvation Army and it was 50% Off...spent $1.50 and the blouse was $2.99... I don't even need to go to the mall anymore.. I find everything I need thrifting!!!

It's a bit of a somber morning... today i'm going to a Funeral for a past co-worker. I wasn't going to post this morning, but decided to at the last minute before going to work. Hope you all are having a great day, be thankful for your life and loved ones. It goes by so quickly... cherish those you love and the moments you have together : )

Its week two of the "New Day New Shoe" challenge. First week was fun, since the weather was so nice, I haven't had to pull out any Fall Shoes just yet.. so I will definently take this challenge into November... I'm finding shoes I haven't worn in years... and since I can't part with any of them.. I'm gonna wear em.. LOL

I paired this show with the beautiful Royal Blue Vintage Dress (B Thrifty $1.50) I couldn't wait to wear. These two colors really Pop together. It's supposed to get up to 74 today so this dress is perfect...

Week 1 ~ Shoe Challenge Complete....

I must say it has been a fun week, picking a shoe and planning a outfit to compliment them... It's been such nice weather here that I can spread out this challenge into November when i'll probably have to pack away some of my fun Spring/Summer shoes to hibernate for the winter :((

Todays shoe is from Asos.. I purchased them early summer and hadn't found a reason to wear them. They are a Wedge Sneaker/Bootie lol.. Not sure if this is outfit is the best match for them, but it's Friday and I wasn't dressing up for work today haha..

The beginning of October weather has been beautiful.. we are enjoying a bit of Indian Summer.. with temps in the mid to upper 70's.. It's cool in the morning but during the day it's PERFECT... I get to wear some of my bright summer shoes.. so I pulled out these Yellow Wedges. I got for a steal at Salvation Army via Target... brand new and only $2 because they were a Additional 50% off!!!      I just love THRIFTING!!!

Today's shoe is a oldy that I had completely forgotten about... purchased maybe 5 years ago, they had been gathering dust on the bottom of the shoe rack lol.. I'm so glad Shana from Color Blind started this shoe challenge because it's given me reason to really look at some shoes I wouldn't normally choose to wear, just because they aren't the latest and greatest.. but still very cute ;)

Personal Style Challenge: New Shoe Every Day ~ Week 1 ~ Monday

Hello.... Happy Monday :))

How many of you have TONS of shoes.. at least 100 pair or more.. but find yourself wearing the same 10 pair... while the other 90 plus pair sit in your closet just waiting to be worn LOL. WELL... I have decided to challenge myself to wear a different pair of shoes each day (Monday - Friday) for the entire month of October. I may extend into November seeing as that is really only 20 pairs of shoes. I have at least 200 pairs.. some are Spring / Summer.. so the weather may not permit me to wear them.. But October  shouldn't be a problem... I'm kind of excited to do this.. and see what outfits are inspired by each daily shoe choice...
