What A Blessing To Have Great Friends.....

This is a personal post... I normally keep my posts fashion/style related and don't post about my personal life. Today one of my best friends and women I know sent me a email titled "Gratitude". It trully  touched my heart and sent me into the UGLY cry here at work. I love this girl... she is the sister I wished for and a true RIDE OR DIE friend. We have had our ups and downs and have always come through them stronger and closer. I'm going to share her email to me... I hope that you all have people in your life that love and value you just for being you. I do...

Hey girl.  I am writing/emailing because tomorrow is not promised to any of us and I just want to let you know that I am grateful to have you in my life. No matter the storms of life that occur we seem to weather the storm regardless. I often used to wonder how you and I could be close after only being friends for a few years but a couple years back I knew that it was because of God. In spite of our issue around the wedding I knew that God put you in a life for a reason and for a lifetime.  I've lost many and you've been there and been an asset to my healing and growing process. I thank  you so much for your friendship and sisterhood. I truly believe in my heart that we are destined for greatness. While I believe that and that God will allow us to fulfill some of that greatness here on earth I cannot be too invincible and think that tomorrow is guaranteed for me. With that said.... I appreciate you, your friendship, your sisterhood, your assisting with Sweetface, advice, cards, chats, laughter, etc. I need you in my life and had to let you know my gratitude. I can't wait to see what's next. I admire your creativity which is one of the reasons our spirits have connected. I pray for you daily and will continue to do so. Keep shining my friend. Lets make 2012 extraordinary...no more ordinary. I have a few friends and I want us all to succeed but I am so grateful to know you are one that I know is always looking for ways to improve as well. I think (well I know) that this new blog journey of yours is a new doorway to success...don't let it die hun. Its your time. Love you girl... to life! Peace & Prosperity in this New Year!

    awww, this is super duper sweet - you are very fortunate to have a friend like that in your life. I can say that I have 2 friends like that and I am fortunate and would never let them go - I love them to pieces. friends like that dont come around every day - so the good thing is to let things go when they are not so important and to talk and resolve those things that are! Awesome - thanks for sharing! have a wonderful weekend. now, let me go and email my girls - I may copy and paste....lol j/k.

    This really touches my heart. Yes, it is nice to have friends/family who are there for you when times are the best, the worst and anywhere in between.
