I've been shopping my closet all of this month and loving it!! I've had some gems just waiting to be worn, and this dress is one of them. I love lady like vintage dresses. They skim the curves of your body without being to revealing or tight. Dresses are the most universally flattering item of clothing a woman can wear in my opinion. This dress has beautiful colors and floral detail. It's perfect for pairing with tights and colorful modern heals to add a bit of edge and will transition from winter to spring with ease.  Another great purchase from the Salvation Army for $3.60.

Something About The Color Green....

Happy Monday Lovelies...

Hope you all had a fantabulous weekend and your Monday is off to a great start :))

There is something about this shade of Green that just makes me feel so giddy and happy. I've always loved the color green in most shades, but this vibrant Kelly Green has to be my all time fav! It makes any skin tone look vibrant and full of life and you can pair it with so many other colors.  I found this 100% Wool beauty at the Salvation Army for $3, but it happened to be additional 50% off so I paid $1.50!! I was ecstatic when I saw it!! The color alone drew me too it, the cut and style made it a keeper!! Paired with a yellow and white tank from Old Navy and dark skinny jeans from H&M. Decided to wear my nude Mary Jane pumps from Charlotte Russe to tone down the bright colors.

Change of Plans...

Happy Friday Dolls..

Today wasn't exactly the day off from work that I planned LOL. I woke up thinking I could check emails and do a little work from home in the comfort of my bed, NOT!! The new laptop I just got on Wednesday decided to conk out on me LOL.. Brand new out the box lasted a whole two days... SMH, so that interrupted my plans, ended up at work spending hours trying to get the help desk to provide me with a loaner laptop and got pulled into last minute meetings UGH... The silver lining is my laptop was restored by end of the day and will be returned Monday morning... "Saying Thank Ya" for the lil blessings LOL...

Anywho I managed to get a few pics of my outfit before heading into work. Wearing slim slouchy boyfriend jeans from Charlotte Russe, White Button Down Shirt thrifted, New Blazer from H&M that I absolutely LOVE.. it was part of the awesome (buy 1 get 1) clearance sale H&M has going on. Just added my fave Steve Madden Leopard Booties and the look was complete.

After today's fiasco I'm reading for a nice glass of wine and relaxation watching my new fave show GRIMM.

Welcome to Thursday Dolls...

Week almost ova!!! Today will be my Friday actually :))) Wooo hooo.. ok.. I won't rub that in to much haha.. Anywho.. I'm so excited about today's dress.. You won't believe what I paid for it!!!!

Wait For IT...

Only $5 Dollars.. really it was FREE because H&M is having a Buy 1 Get 1 Sale on all their clearance Items.. I went into the store to return something.. and the item I was returning was MARKED DOWN to clearance.. So since it was SOOOOOO cheap LOL.. I decided to return it and repurchase it and picked up a couple other items as well. So thanks to H&M I'm rocking this beautiful colorful dress for the Free !!    A great deal just makes my day so much better :)  Since the dress is bold in color I kept my accessories  minimal and paired it with chocolate brown tights and boots.  I have some great thrifted items and more H&M pieces I'm going to include in a Haul video possibly tomorrow :).

Wearing a vintage blouse from thrifted from Salvation Army with The Limited Slacks and my color block Jessica Simpson heels. The shoes actually go perfect with the blouse, didn't really realize it till I was completely dressed :)

Today's look was inspired by the lovely NeShanta Stylish She... she posted this look (here) that I just thought was Super Chic and Stylish. It prompted me to recreate it today.  I'm often inspired by many of the fashionista bloggers I follow and if I have the items in my possession I WILL BE STEALING YOUR LOOK !!  LOL.. I mean this is the reason we blog right to give others inspiration. Which I think is the ultimate compliment when someone admires your style and what you put together enough to want to recreate the look themselves.

Happy Monday Lovelies...

Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend. I didn't do much at all this weekend, ran a few errands Saturday and pretty much hibernated all day Sunday LOL.. I love weekends like this, especially when it's cold and gloomy outside. I caught up on all my TV shows and even discovered a few new ones that I'm now a fan of.. one being GRIMM...I watched all the previous episodes on On Demand.. I love anything to do with mystical creatures, Vampires, Wolves, Demons etc.. this show takes all the childhood fairy tales we grew up reading and shows the evil side to the characters think Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Bean Stalk..etc. its so creative and pulled me right in!! Yep i'm a dork LOL..

Anywho onto today's outfit.. I didn't really have a catchy title for it. I'm wearing a dress from Forever 21. I love the neutral tones of cream, taupe and black. I got it off the Buy 1 Get 1 clearance sale they had around Black Friday for $11. Since i'm shopping my closet, decided to go ahead and wear it even though the material is kind of thin, paired with tights, boots and a blazer, I'll be nice and warm.

Periwinkle Sweater Dress

Heyyyy... It's Almost Friday :)

I feel so warm in cozy in my dress today its only gonna be about 13 degrees in the Chicago area today O_0... I HATE WINTER.. SO ready for it to be Over!!! .  I'm wearing a Periwinkle asymmetric collar vintage sweater dress that I thrifed from Salvation Army cost me a whole $3.50 LOL.. I'm enjoying shopping my closet this month hasn't been as challenging as I thought, and I'm finding so many cute creative outfits that I can't wait to share with you all.

Had the day OFF today...

Spent my day running a few errands and went to a few appointments. Since I was off decided to pull out this  lil denim skirt from Old Navy and pair it with a New To Me thrifted floral tie neck blouse. I've these brick red tights for a couple months,  ordered them from Charlotte Russe around Christmas time, they were on sale for $2 so figured it wouldn't hurt to try them and if I didn't like them they only cost me two bucks.  I actually like them alot they are just the right length, normallyI  have problems with some tights being to short in the crotch area.. HATE THAT.. but these fit perfect :)

Pink Tweed Short Suit

Hello Dolls...

I pick the wrong day to wear a short suit LOL.. I didn't look outside to see that we are having a mini blizzard until stepping out the door, and it was too late to turn back around and change.. not like I would have anyway, so I braved the weather in my short suit LOL...

Today I'm wearing a pink tweed blazer and matching shorts suit from The Limited that I purchased sometime last year and had yet to wear the entire suit together. I see some of the designers have short suits in their Spring/Summer collections and I'm looking forward to finding some linen and cotton versions to wear. I like the pink,cream and orange tweed pattern of this suit, it's soft and dainty but still structured. I paired it with a sleeveless tie neck blouse from Old Navy and my Color Blocked Platforms from Akira.
